Pierre Fauchard Academy
names
Teacher and Student of the Year
During the Pierre Fauchard Academy Annual Luncheon in Anaheim, California,
the Academy recently presented Ron Blank, SD’75A, associate professor,
oral diagnosis, radiology, and pathology, with the Teacher of the Year
Award and Michael Erickson, SD’02, with the Student of the Year Award
for 2002. Dr. Blank was also selected by School of Dentistry faculty and
students to received the first School of Dentistry Faculty of the Year
Award which was presented to him during 2002 commencement ceremonies for
the School. A feature article about Dr. Blank will appear in the next
issue.
Each year, the Pierre Fauchard Academy presents Teacher of the Year and
Student of the Year Awards to faculty and students in each of the three
Schools of Dentistry in Southern California.
