Clinical System Database
To efficiently analyze student information, it is essential that all procedures
be entered in our clinical system database.
- Study Club procedures
- Competency procedures
- Treatment Complete procedures
Clinic Session Code: 1-morning: 2-afternoon: 3- evening clinic
The significance of entering the correct session code on the PVF is to
identify the following information:
- Track student attendance
- Analyze each clinic session
- Analyze clinic production based on session code
Recall Comment
To enter a recall comment, use this format. The purpose for this format
is to write efficient queries and reports.
- A student recall: enter the student QR# then proceed with your comment;
i.e. 6-month recall
- A department recall: enter the department QR# then proceed with your
comment
Chart Request
To better serve all SD students, staff, faculty and departments use this
format when requesting charts. If your department does not have a number
to request charts contact Clinic Administration.
- Predoctoral/Postdoctoral: use your assigned alphanumeric number
- PCCs (patient care coordinators): use your assigned numeric number
- Departments: use your assigned numeric number
Chart Pull List
The chart pull list is located in the print schedule option.
When you select the option print schedules also select the
option chart pull list. The type of information displayed
on the chart pull list:
- Current balance
- Account #
- Chart # (under the medical # column)
- First and last name Telephone number 1 and 2
- DOB
- Gender
- Student/provider #
- Appointment date-time-location
Departments use this report to confirm appointments, pull charts and
check balances on patients that are scheduled for the next day. If the
chart pull list will not print, contact Marina Moore ext. 48181.
