Sylvia Davis and Shelly Withers met with students and faculty on the Walla Walla College (College Place, Washington) campus during the week of April 17 to 20.

They met with students individually, as well as talking with classes which was all coordinated by Laura Pflugrad, Career and Cooperative Education Center coordinator.

The final events included having lunch in the cafeteria with members of the Pre-professional Committee and dinner for the students accepted into the dental hygiene and dental programs to begin classes in September.

Enjoying dinner at Jacobi’s along with the celebrating students was Don Kellogg, SD’72, who coordinated the first “Introduction to Dentistry” class at Walla Walla College this past quarter, and Dr. Bob Rittenhouse, who teaches chemistry and is the pre-dentistry advisor.

There will be eight students in the class of 2005 from Walla Walla College, and 10 dental hygiene students in the Class of 2003.
