Dentalgram May 2002 Department news Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Alan S. Herford, SD’94, assistant professor, program director, was an invited lecturer; April 8, 2002 at the KLS Martin, SORG section meeting in Frankfurt Germany. Dr. Herford’s topic was “Maxillofacial Trauma.” Restorative Dentistry     Dan Hall, DDS, PG’95, assistant professor, restorative dentistry, was recognized by the Southern California Sections of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists during an awards dinner at the Anaheim Hilton. He was recognized for 25 years of membership in the ACD and the ICD.   Sterilization Marisela Mendez, sterilization technician, and her husband, Eugene, have a new baby, Eugenio Mendez, born March 25, 2002. Eugenio was 6 lbs, 8 oz at birth, and is their second child. Welcome A warm welcome to new employees Lisa Ross, laboratory helper, sterilization; and Sandi Malone, dental technician, dental laboratory services.
