Drs. Bakland and Eddleman inducted into International College of Dentists
At its annual session held in Chicago recently, ICD inducted two School of Dentistry alumni: Leif K. Bakland (SD˙63), professor and chair of endodontics, and associate dean for advanced education; and Vernon S. Eddleman (SD˙63), who practices and resides in Tempe, Arizona. The ICD is an honorary organization for the recognition of outstanding and meritorious service to the profession. In an impressive cap and gown ceremony, more than 250 dentists from the United States were inducted into the College at this year˙s ceremony, witnessed by hundreds of members and guests. ICD, with representative chapters in more than 80 countries, has approximately 8,000 members, including 5,000 in the United States. The College enclave was held immediately preceding the 141st Annual Session of the American Dental Association in Chicago. University |
