After careful study, list of supported computer standards released

In an effort to use the School’s human resources in dental computing as efficiently and effectively as possible, the School of Dentistry computer committee has approved a set of supported hardware and software standards.
After analyzing the systems currently in place, the following list was voted by this committee and approved by the School’s executive committee.

We understand many faculty and staff are using non-supported systems. Please understand that you are not required to immediately cease using these systems. However, you will need to upgrade as soon as possible to supported systems so your workflow is not interrupted when troubleshooting is required. If you have questions please contact Kathleen Moore, director, educational technology support services, at ext. 44399. She is currently on medical leave, and will answer your questions as soon as possible.
