James Jeffery competes in DENTSPLY competition

James Jeffery, D4, represented the dental school in the 2002 DENTSPLY competition in New Orleans. The research project was titled, “Temperature change during implant osteotomy using different irrigation systems,” and won first prize during the LLU table clinic competition in February.

DENTSPLY gave special congratulations to LLU, one of 18 US dental schools to have sent a student clinician to compete in the program every year, either since the program’s inception or since the school opened.

During the 2002 table clinic competition (l-r) Shayne Hover, Marlon Peter, and James Jeffrey (D4) won first place, laboratory, for “Effect of different irrigation systems on heat generation during implant osteotomies.” James Jeffrey represented the researchers at the DENTSTPLY student clinician competition in New Orleans, in October.
