Fall family retreat at Pine Springs, 2002

Elder Morris Venden speaks to the dental school family about God's grace.	A special part of the retreat were many stories of dental mission trips. Here, Kevin Biederman, D2 talks about experiences he had while providing dental care in Russia.	William Hooker, PhD, MFCC, associate dean for student affairs, welcomes students, faculty, and staff to the fall family retreat.

 

During worship hour Youngjoo Kim, D3, Greg Sprague, D2 (center), and Jon Buenjemia, D1, perform.	Aaron and Collette Muth speak about Christian outreach and opening the Upper Room Christian Cafe in Redlands.

 

Brian and Monica Dudar organized activities and crafts for children.	The unforgettable Milford awards a door prize to Trevor Fraser, D2.

 

During Saturday night skits, fourth-year dental students (l-r)Kirkland Larson, Brian Dudar, O'Neill Solanky, Heather Crouch, and Mike Stafford show how not to practice infection control.	Dr. Doyle Nick (right) and Crystal Edmister; D2, demonstrate the latest dental techniques during the ’80s bash Saturday night.

 

Cheryl Harrison, DH’68 (left) presents the grandprize, a trip for two to Hawaii, to Richard Cross, dental school photographer. Harold Schnepper's name was selected first, but he declined.	Heather Lauer, D4, Rebecca Larson, and Gretchen Schnepper, D3, model their ’80s outfits.
