Malia Seltzer represents LLU in
ADA/Dentsply student clinician competition
 |
| Malia R. Seltzer, D4* (center), represented the School of Dentistry
in the 2002 DENTSPLY competition in San Francisco. The research
project is titled, “The effectiveness of three maxillary splints
on myofascial pain,” and won second place in the clinical
category during the LLU table clinic competition in February. Malia
presented the table clinic in a special judging session on Friday,
October 24 (the competition date was Sabbath, October 25). DENTSPLY
gave special congratulations to LLU, one of 19 U.S. dental schools
to have sent a student clinician to compete in the program every
year, either since the program’s inception or since the school
opened. Also pictured are co-researchers Sam Alazyat and Melissa
Ramsey, D4* students. |
