The course we are offering this quarter will be:

HCJ 506 Educational Evaluation and Clinical Assessment (3 qtr units) Thursday evenings,
5 –10 p.m. Nichol Hall
October 31 to December 5

Are you interested in these three things:

• Figuring out where your students are during instruction—are they with you? Have they gotten what you want them to get?

• Testing exactly what they have learned from your lecture or assigned readings—designing high quality multiple choice questions—putting a test online using Excel to help you calculate grades

• Knowing absolutely how well students are performing clinically—designing an OSCE station

Then you will want to take Educational Evaluation and Clinical Assessment, a web-enhanced class. Register using your tuition benefits. Use this class toward certification or a master’s degree.
