Featured employee of the month: Jennifer Osborne

Jennifer Osborne and her husband, Daryl. They celebrated their second anniversary in June, 2003.

Jennifer Osborne, department assistant, clinic administration, is the featured employee of the month.

Jeni began working in the School in June, 1991, in the dental records department. In 1995 she served as dental hygiene clinic coordinator for a year, and then took a six-month leave of absence to spend time with her youngest son, Collin (her oldest is 8-year-old Cameron).
When she returned to the School, she worked for Debbie Tuttle in clinic administration as coordinator II before transferring to Mary Hartwell’s office in 1998.

As a department assistant, Jeni helps with the new employee process and assists with special School functions including the Thanksgiving Basket project, the Christmas Breakfast, and Clinic With a Heart.

Her creativity can be seen in the logo design for Clinic With a Heart T-shirts that are given to the volunteers each year, and in slideshows she has put together featuring faculty, staff, and students that have been shown during events including the Celebration and clinic orientation. She also submits employee news and articles to Dentalgram each month.

“I enjoy working with employees from the first day they begin work,” says Jeni. “They make us part of their lives.”

Jeni is married to Daryl Osborne, who works in kitchen and bath design in Home Depot. In their spare time, the Osbornes enjoy camping, remodeling their home, and looking at the stars (Daryl is an amateur astronomer).
