* The Department of Endodontics presented the 16th Annual Review of Endodontic Biology on September 26 - 27. This two-day course is primarily for endodontists preparing for certification by the American Board of Endodontics and is the longest continuously running course of its kind. About 100 endodontists and other dentists from all over the country attended. * Returning to the Department for a second sabbatical is visiting scholar, Dr. Chan-Vi Hong, from Dankook University in Korea. His first sabbatical here was in 1992 - 93, and Dr. Hong will now spend the next 12 months conducting research in endodontics with Dr. Mahmoud Torabinejad, professor and director of the advanced education program in endodontics.
