More than 150 patients seen during Clinic With a Heart

Forty-four pediatric patients and 116 adult patients were screened and 145 patients received treatment during Clinic With a Heart, providing free care to local residents on Sunday, April 1.

Procedures included: 39 extractions, 9 surgical extractions, 111 x-rays, 16 root planings, 54 amalgams, and 39 composites.

Other procedures included pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, sealants, and an occlusal adjustment.

The cost of care provided to pediatric patients was $4,553; and the amount of care provided to adults was $14,870, a total of $19,423.

Dr. Wee, who serves in the Singapore armed forces as an endodontist, first volunteered for the event while in the endodontic residency program.
