Dr. Boyne receives Pierre Fauchard Academy Award

Dr. Philip Boyne received the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award during the organization’s annual luncheon, Southern California Section, in Anaheim.

Dr. Philip Boyne, professor and director, oral and maxillofacial surgery, was given the Pierre Fauchard Academy Honor Award during the organization’s annual luncheon, Southern California section, in Anaheim. Dr. Boyne was selected to receive the award for his “outstanding and dedicated service to the dental profession.”

The Academy is an international dental honors organization named after Pierre Fauchard, born in 1678, called the Father of Modern Dentistry. Membership is comprised of “those individuals who have made outstanding and meritorius contributions to the science and art of dentistry or to society.”
