Gifts to the School of Dentistry
2001—2002

The School of Dentistry celebrates the generous support of alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and students who became our philanthropic partners during 2001-02 to advance the quality of dental education at Loma Linda University.

These gifts make possible special projects and programs beyond the scope of the operating budget and enhance the educational experience for all students.

More than $1.2 million was contributed, including more than $145,000 designated for scholarship funds and endowments to benefit dental and dental hygiene students. The Alumni Association Annual Fund Gold Campaign brought in almost $265,000, qualifying for an additional $169,000 in challenge grant monies.

It is with great pleasure that we honor our wonderful donors who continue to make a difference for the dental hygiene students at Loma Linda University. The scholarship endowments and annual fund were the major recipients during 2001-02.

Gifts to dental hygiene increased by 13 percent last year, and we are pleased to recognize the alumni and friends below who gave so generously to support our programs.
