School of Dentistry makes front page news

The School of Dentistry made front-page news with The [San Bernardino] Sun newspaper Monday, February 18. Drs. Joseph Caruso and Ivan Dus were interviewed by reporter Annette Wells for the article, “A new way
of looking inside heads,” that describes the capabilities and benefits of the School’s NewTom 9000.

Annette Wells, a reporter for The Sun newspaper, feels that the School of Dentistry is a valuable resource to the community.

In the past 12 months, Ms. Wells has written three front-page feature articles about the School— “School opens wide for youngsters,” (about the School’s work with Proposition 10); “Student dentists cut their teeth on children,” (an article about the dental hygiene department providing care to children in the Colton School District—and Ms. Wells didn’t write the headline!); and most recently “A new way of looking inside heads,” informing the public about the benefits of the NewTom 9000. In addition to newspaper articles, the School has appeared in television newscasts and working under the guidance of Loma Linda University relations, articles are now in the works with The Press-Enterprise and the Los Angeles Times.
