Phonathon responses up more than 30 percent

Alumni of the School of Dentistry provided strong support for the special Annual Fund Gold Campaign during the phonathon this year.

More than $194,800 in commitments were made for the 2001–2002 campaign, an increase of 34 percent over last year. The effort celebrates the 50th anniversary of the School in 2003.

“The response to the challenge grant,” says W. Eugene Rathbun, SD’65, MS’71, “for three-year pledges to the Annual Fund was wonderful. The LLU Dental Group, Inc., is providing matching dollars at the $300 level or above.”

The Annual fund supports important projects such as student mission trips, the building campaign, new faculty recruitment, personalized Bibles and lab coats for students, student research, and Alumni Association expenses.
