Class of 2002 performs well on NB Part I The class of 2002 can breathe a sigh of relief now that national board scores have come in. Participating in the National Board Part I examination given on July 10, 2000, were 87 students and as a class scored above the national mean. Eighteen students received scores of 90th percentile or above, and are eligible to receive the School of Dentistry Silver Award for Academic Excellence. As a part of this award, the fee for the National Board Part II examination next December will be paid by the School, and they will receive a plaque at the Awards Chapel in May 2001. In addition, a press release will be sent to notify their hometown newspaper. Congratulations to the Class of 2002 for your excellent performance!
