A letter to the editor Dear Editor: My article in the last edition of LOMA LINDA DENTISTRY regarding the School's history failed to cite as one of its sources an article written by R. David Rynearson, DDS, "A Grand Beginning," (LOMA LINDA DENTISTRY, Vol. 3, No. 2, p. 39-43). When I was asked to write the article, I simply copied various statements from our 50th Anniversary book manuscript, a documentary that is being compiled and condensed from a variety of sources, including more than 40 contributors. At that time the manuscript had no references. It was an inadvertent omission. Sincerely, Richard A. Schaefer
