| The 40-year honor class of 1959 gathered to reminisce. The evening of February 6 found 24 members of the Class of 1959 with wives (there were very few women in the dental class of 40 years ago, and none at LLU) and guests enjoying a catered meal while reminiscing about life over the years. The class members talked of retirement and travel and aches and pains while the ladies compared notes on grandchildren. Frank Womack showed slides from long ago which brought fond memories. Bill Heisler showed slides of a recent trip, sponsored by Rotary International, to study children's dental care in Magadan, Russia. The evening was arranged by Bill and Barbara Heisler and Bill and Sally Seibly. | William Loveless, EdD, senior pastor of the University Church, interviewed Tekle Asmerom, DDS, missionary dentist to Eritrea and Tanzania, who recently spent six months in the International Dentist Program. |
