LAST LOOK Special Dean's Circle members honored by Barbara Bostwick On the tenth anniversary of the Dean's Circle, the School of Dentistry honored 16 of the charter members of this group who have held continuous membership. At the annual banquet during the Alumni-Student Convention, they were invited to join Dr. and Mrs. Charles J. Goodacre as their guests at a special table for the evening. During the program, Dean Goodacre expressed appreciation on behalf of the School for their commitment and generosity, and presented special commemorative gifts ordered for the occasion. It was noted that these 16 individuals together had given more than $640,000 over the years to the School and its programs. Recognized for their support were: J. Milford Anholm, DDS, MS'62, Michael Boyko, SD'75A, David P. Clark, SD'71, MS'74, Gilbert L. Dupper, SD'67, Thomas G. Dwyer, SD'74, MS'79, Mervin L. Ellstrom, SD'75A, Irving M. Feldkamp, SD'71, William H. Heisler, SD'59, David L. Johnson, SD'69, Judson Klooster, DDS, dean emeritus, Carlton R. Lofgren, SD'61, Dennis L. Meidinger, SD'70, Marlene M. Schultz, SD'65, Richard A. Simms, DDS, MS'63, R. Bruce Walter, SD'73, and Eugene V. Warner, SD'63. The Dean's Circle invites into membership those individuals who provide philanthropic support of $1,500 or more on an annual basis. There are currently 117 members, based on their gifts to the School during the 1997-98 year. Members of the Dean's Circle are recognized on a special wall of honor in the School and are highlighted in publications, receive news updates from the Dean and invitations to events throughout the year. Current members represent dental and dental hygiene alumni classes from 1958 through 1994, in addition to non-alumni participants.   Pictured from left: Drs.
