Karate
Teaches the basic techniques beginning with stances, blocks, and turns with children and adults. Discipline and responsibility for one's own actions are stressed. Class is continuous and accommodates both beginning and advanced students. The instructor holds a black belt in karate and is a member of the Aoinagi Karate Do-Jo. For all ages.

T'ai Chi Ch'uan (Taijiquan)
T'ai chi Ch'uan is the most popular internal form of Kungfu. It is a low intensity exercise suitable for all ages. If you can walk, you can practice T'ai-chi. Research has shown it to improve balance, lower blood pressure, and increase aerobic capacity in seniors. It helps you to relax and reduce your stress. Students learn O'mei ch'i kung (qigong), basic exercises, silk reeling, and Symmetrical Yang style T'ai chi ch'uan form. Continuing students will learn the Symmetrical Yang long form, pushing hands, San Shou form, stick and sword. For all ages.

Ballet
Learning ballet is wonderful for children even if they never become dancers. It teaches flexibility, discipline, and grace. The core curriculum covers vocabulary, correct placement for the body, feet, head, and arms, and the study of the five basic positions and all of the elementary movements stemming from them. Training includes bar and center-floor work. Dress code is as follows: solid color leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers. No tutus please. For ages 5 - 9. Class limit - 12 students.

Judo/Ju-Jitsu
Classes to include: warm-up falling techniques, limited stretching, Judo philosophy, Judo throws, Jujitsu techniques with throws, grappling techniques, limited karate techniques, and Aikido. For ages 12 and above.

Jazz/Lyrical Movement
Teaches students fundamental movements of lyrical and jazz dance technique. Across the floor, center exercises, and combinations will be taught which will help children to improve coordination, memory, and the ability to follow directions.
For ages 7 - 15. There is a class limit of 18 students.
Jazz/Hip Hop Developmental Movement
Teaches introductory movements in jazz and hip hop. Children will experience and develop movements in flexibility, agility, and balance while expanding an understanding of rhythm, increasing memory capacities, and enhancing the skill of following directions.
For ages 7 - 12. There is a class limit of 12 students.
