Research Interests
- Outcomes research relative to negative health behaviors possibly associated with increased risk of transmission of highly infectious diseases like HIV/AIDS in vulnerable populations
- Social welfare and institutionalization systems and their effects on young adult vulnerable populations
- Barriers to patient/provider communication regarding chronic diseases among diverse ethnic and racial populations
