Financial information

Students are considered to be enrolled with Loma Linda University, Marital and Family Therapy Program, Canadian Campus. This is considered to be a 10-month program by the Alberta Student Loan Board.

Students are expected to arrange for financial resources to cover all expenses before the beginning of each school year. All tuition and fees are charged and payable in full the first day of each quarter. Financial clearance must be obtained before registration of each term.

Accounts with other schools or with Loma Linda University must have been settled. The student is expected to keep a clear financial status at all times.

Students must maintain a minimum of 60% (5 units/quarter) of what Canada student loans considers to be a full load (8 units/quarter) to qualify for student loan funding or to qualify for interest-free status on previous loans. There is no financial criteria to receive interest-free status on previous loans.

Financial assistance: Students in this program qualify for both provincial and federal loans. There are no scholarships offered by LLU students are encouraged to research into other organizational grants and scholarships.

The schedule of charges, subject to annual review, is as follows:
Tuition is $400/unit (for 2007-2008)
42 units for first year = $16,800.00
36 units for second year = $14,400.00
Books/quarter = $650 x 3 = $1950.00/year

Graduate level writing course, STCJ 515, $650 CDN
Parking Fee $25 CDN/year

Study dates are as follows:
Fall quarter: September - December
Winter quarter: December - March
Spring quarter: March - June
