Counseling and Family Sciences - Doug Huenergardt, PhD
Dr. Huenergardt is coordinator for the doctor of marriage and family therapy (DMFT) degree. Prior to joining the faculty at Loma Linda, he served as director of the Family Institute and director of program development and evaluation at Family Service Centers in Pinellas County, Florida. He has also taught at Queens College, City University of New York and the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He received his PhD from Northwestern University and has been on the Loma Linda University faculty since January of 2000.
Interests & research:
Competency-based family therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, program design and evaluation, and family and community systemic practice.
