Co-parenting classes for divorced parents. Parenting after divorce can be one of life's most difficult tasks. Many divorced parents struggle to parent effectively and stay out of conflicts with each other. Children are often caught in the middle of their parents' conflicts which can result in increased behavioral problems, stress, anxiety, and depression.
The Parenting Apart program, which consists of four two-hour classes, gives divorced parents tools that they can use to keep their children out of their couple-conflicts while raising their children in a safe and loving environment. Parents may attend together or individually. One parent alone applying these tools and information can improve the co-parenting, relationship.
Parenting Apart combines two nationally recognized SAMHSA Model Programs: "Children in the Middle" and "After the Storm" www.divorce-education.com
