Memorabilia Collection
Loma Linda is developing one of the outstanding collections of items produced by the church and its organizations and institutions through the years. The memorabilia include such diverse things as ingathering cans, ribbons and pins; postcards of Adventist Institutions; sanitarium medicine bottles; old Missionary Volunteer honors, pins and sashes; memory verse cards and reading course certificates; diplomas, mugs, pennants, etc., from Adventist schools; as well as games, puzzles and coloring books. Various pioneer furniture items such as John Harvey Kellogg's bookcase and the Loma Linda Sanitarium chapel podium are also collected. In short, almost anything which helps to preserve the story of the Adventist Church is being kept as part of this collection and is available for research or church displays.
