Division of anatomy
Faculty - Robert L. Schultz, PhD
As a graduate student I worked in the laboratory of Daniel C. Pease, a pioneer electron microscopist. Later as a postdoctoral fellow, I worked under Fritiof Sjostrand, another electron microscopist noted for his high resolution work. My research has involved electron microscopy and mostly the central nervous system. Fixation and its effects on structure and more recently cytochemistry, has been central to my interest. My teaching efforts have mainly involved histology and one of my hobbies is electronics.
