Mission
To conduct basic science research in the field of cellular and molecular genetics.
Objectives
a) To establish and maintain an active research program in the field of cellular and molecular genetics
b) the program at the CMBGT will consist in the scholarly execution of basic science research to provide a foundation for molecular medicine at LLU
c) To look into the application of molecular genetic basic science research in the development of cellular and genetic therapies to treat human diseases, such as cancer and neurological disorders
d) Promote and organize courses to train faculty and students at LLU in cutting-edge cellular and molecular genetics technologies.
