Center for Molecular Biology & Gene Therapy
Welcome to the Center for Molecular Biology & Gene Therapy (CMBGT) homepage at Loma Linda University. The CMBGT brings together scientists with different backgrounds to conduct research in molecular medicine. The focus of the CMBGT is on the molecular mechanisms underlying the abnormal growth and survival of cancer cells. Studies conducted by CMBGT scientists include basic science investigations, translational research, and preclinical studies, all seeking to develop targeted therapies to control the development and progression of malignancies. The CMBGT offers a broad variety of educational and research training opportunities for students at all stages of their academic careers.
