Determination of class rank

Class of 2011

Members of the Class of 2011 will have class rank determined in two ways during the freshman and sophomore years:

  1. A national percentile rank (derived from three-digit scores on freshman NBME subject exams) that compares performance to other students in U.S. medical schools: AND

  2. Relative to the performance of other Loma Linda students within each freshman course. Both rankings will be reported in the Dean’s Letter.

Students may opt to report both or only one during the residency application process.
