Biographical sketch
Raised in Loma Linda from the age of 5, nursing was a natural career choice. My great interest is teaching so the combination of nursing & education fit best. I've taught Nursing at Loma Linda University School of Nursing, University of Hawaii and San Diego State University.

Research projects, publications, and interests
My interests include facilitating baccalaureate education for RNs, utilizing BlackBoard for online education, looking into the life changes required for RNs to return to school and Mother/Baby Nursing. My research project is: A Qualitative Study of Registered Nurses Returning to School for a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. I have contributed to numerous OB nursing textbooks and coauthored a chapter in Thinking Critically Views Values in College Teaching Edited by Patricia Foster.
Clinical focus & specialities
Current clinical interest is the vulnerable population regardless of setting. Other interests, experience and
certification are in Mother/Baby.
