Research projects/interests
My primary interest is in studying the effect of psychobiological stressors on human health. Cancer and tratment for cancer are stressors that are not only psychological but also biological, and I am interested in how they affect stress and physiological responses in individuals affected. Past research included a study of neuro-immune responses to a relaxation intervention in patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Current research projects
I am currently conducting a small research project studying Chemotherapy-associated anxiety from the perspective of patients and nurses. It is a qualitative descri0tive study. In addition, I am continuing a large study on Prostate Cancer: Acute and Extended Effects for Couples.
