Global Partnerships in Nursing for Wholistic Nursing Care--Johannesburg, South Africa (July 29-August 2, 2002)
The last in the series of three international conferences on Global Partnerships in Nursing for Wholistic Nursing Care was held in Johannesburg, South Africa July 29 to August 2, 2002.
Since 1998, Loma Linda University School of Nursing has been focusing its international outreach to the world church through a project called Global Partnership in Nursing for Wholistic Nursing Care. This project is jointly sponsored by the General Conference Department of Health Ministries, the Ralph and Carolyn Thompson Charitable Foundation, and international nursing at Loma Linda School of Nursing. The project began in Asia in 1999, in Central and South America in 2000, and is now focusing on Africa.
