The world of nutrition and dietetics provides a rewarding career in applying expert knowledge of food and the physical and social sciences to help solve problems of food excesses, inadequate intake, or food insecurity. Nutrition deals with the science of how the body uses food that contains nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals to its full advantage; dietetics is the art of using food to make eating a pleasurable experience and provide abundant health and a long life for all.

The Dietetic Technology Coordinated Programs in Nutrition and Dietetics at the BS, MS, and MPH degree levels are currently granted continuing accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the American Dietetic Association. 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago IL 60606-6995, (312) 899-0040, ext 5400. www.eatright.com/CADE, Fax (312) 899-4817, email cade@eatright.org

The nutrition and dietetics program prepares competent, entry-level dietitians to meet the needs of Seventh-day Adventist health care and educational facilities, as well as community based needs locally, nationally, and internationally. Alumni members currently serve across North America, Asia, Australia, Europe, and Africa. Several professional service opportunities are available, both nationally and internationally, after graduating from Loma Linda University. Come join our world.
