Alumni and guests, faculty and staff, students and community supporters assembled on Loma Linda University campus for three days of class reunions, continuing education, social events, vendor exhibits, campus tours, alumni recognition, and praise and worship services April 28-30, 2005
We commemorated the University's centennial and reviewed the leadership role which the School of Allied Health Professions has demonstrated over the years in areas of community service, education and technological development.
Continuing Education courses were well attended and the participants found the ten exhibitors/sponsors to be significant resources. Sponsors and exhibitors were primarily medical equipment suppliers, related professional organizations and book/publication companies.

At the banquet, alumni award recipients and honor year alumni were held in highest regard. The guests enjoyed a delectable ensemble of Asian Cuisine while seated in a hall flanked by large historical posters of the school, and elegantly decorated with fresh bouquets of orchids. They were treated to piano and vocal renditions, serenaded by enchanting violin selections, and entertained by the witty and charming Dr. John Lewis, banquet host.
Friday evening and Sabbath lunch potlucks afforded the alumni additional time to mingle and review events that marked the School's development. The vesper program featured an inspiring but brief presentation and a short rousing concert by a local praise band. Sabbath Services at the University Church provided another opportunity for recognition of honored alumni, faculty and community members for outstanding service.

The weekend was topped off Saturday night by an entertaining evening of basketball games held at the Drayson Center. Students and faculty/staff jockeyed for positions, which won them significant door prizes, and some alumni meeting for a class reunion nearby completed their dinner in time to join in on the festivities. The culminating event was an awesome game between the school and a local wheelchair basketball team.
The administration, faculty and staff are looking forward to next year's Homecoming Weekend when the 40th anniversary of the School will be celebrated. Plans are under way to make this a spectacular event. Please reserve the dates April 20-23, 2006 and check the website for additional updates.
