Please plan to bring a completed academic screening form and college transcripts to your appointment. Unofficial copies of transcripts are ok for your advising appointment. Please note that official copies will need to be sent from your colleges directly to Loma Linda University during the admissions process.

Phlebotomy

Individuals interested in registering should fill out a non-degree registration form online at and submit the completed form to the registrar's office in the Student Services Center located at 11139 Anderson St., Loma Linda, CA 92354. Financial Aid is not available for these courses. LLU students follow institutional schedule. Tuition fees are due before the course begins. Courses subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. In the event of cancellation, registrants are notified and fees are returned. Student generated withdrawals are subject to University refund policies.

Once you have chosen a program and have a financial plan to fund your education, you will need to complete an application for your chosen program. You need only to complete one online application for the University and program.

Application materials required for Medical Technology and Cytotechnology

  1. SAHP under graduate Application form
  2. Personal statement
  3. Non refundable application fee of $60.00 (for first-time applicants). For re-application within the last three years, the fee is $30.00.
  4. Three personal recommendation forms (available once you begin the online application)
  5. An official transcript from high school and each college or university attended (sent directly from school to school). Transcripts issued to the student will not be accepted as official.

Foreign applicants

International applicants must provide suitable recommendations, give evidence of ability to meet all financial obligations, and furnish English translations of all transcripts. Regardless of nationality or citizenship, an applicant whose native tongue is not English, is required to pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the Michigan Test of English Language Proficiency (MTELP) or the equivalent. An undergraduate must submit a minimum score of 550 for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a minimum score of 90 percentile for the Michigan Test of English as a Foreign Language (MTELP). Additionally, a minimum score of 5 both on the TOEFL writing test and the speaking test (TWE and TSE-A) are required for acceptance.

For prospective students who have studied outside the US: Foreign transcripts must be evaluated through Foreign Education Credential Service International Education Services. 1 DuPont Circle NW, Suite 520 Washington DC 20036-1135. www.AACRAO.org. This is the only acceptable service for the Clinical Laboratory Science programs at Loma Linda University.
