
Applications are accepted beginning October 1 for the following fall quarter admission (rolling admissions). Due to the competitive nature of admissions, applications received by March 1 will be given preference in evaluation and admittance as early applications. The standard application deadline is July 1.
Students in the Emergency Medical Care Program follow a prescribed course of study and enter as one class starting in September (fall quarter).

International applicants: TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) is required for all foreign applicants, to include writing test (TWE) with a minimum score of Level 5. (TSE with minimum score of 55 required for MPT and MPA only.)
While we will consider international applicants, it may be helpful for you to know that we have never been able to accept an international student due to problems with transferability of professional licensure that is a requirement for entry into our program.
All foreign transcripts, including high school, must be submitted to an approved evaluation service. There are two approved services. Information for international students (PDF). Results of the evaluation are sent to LLU directly from the evaluation center. Official foreign transcripts must also be sent directly to us from school to school at time of application.
Tuition: Tuition for the Emergency Medical Care Program at LLU is $429.00 per unit. Approximate cost for tuition and fees is $17,796 per year, plus books, and room and board (if applicable).
Financial Aid: Our financial aid officers are ready to assist you in obtaining financing for your education. Be sure to apply early for financial assistance--even before receiving acceptance into the program. You should begin the financial aid process by January 1. Applications for Cal Grants (California residents only) must be postmarked no later than March 2. These applications are available after December 25.
