We continue to be very concerned about the devastation and personal tragedies resulting from the fires in Southern California. We are responding to the needs of the employees and students and providing information about the ways that you can also support those individuals who have been affected by the fires.
Fifteen students enrolled in the School of Allied Health Professions were directly impacted by the fires. We have taken the following actions to help support these individuals:
In order to provide support for both employees and students on our campus, we have established an Emergency Relief Fund. The proceeds from this fund will be provided as a gift to employees and students who have suffered losses. The fund will be used to provide money for food, clothing, temporary housing, replacement of essential personal property, etc.
If you wish to donate to this fund, you may do so by mailing a check to LLUAHSC Office of Philanthropy, P.O. Box 2000, Loma Linda, CA 92354. Checks should be made out to the LLUAHSC Emergency Relief Fund.
If you are a Loma Linda employee, check with the payroll department or campus email for more options on how you can help those in need.
Our prayers are with the families and our community members who have been impacted by the fires.
