Associate of Science in Medical Radiography

The application window for the AS in Medical Radiography program is from January 1, 2009 to May 1, 2009.

Admission Requirements

Loma Linda University requirements: To be eligible for admission, the applicant must have completed a minimum of 42 quarter units at an accredited college or university. The minimum admission subject requirements are:

    DOMAIN 1: SPIRITUAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE

CULTURAL HERITAGE (Required only for BS programs)

SPIRITUAL HERITAGE
Four quarter hours of Religion per year -- required only if student is attending an Seventh-day Adventist college.

    DOMAIN 2: SCIENTIFIC INQUIRY AND ANALYSIS

NATURAL SCIENCES

Human Anatomy and Physiology, with laboratory (Two-part sequence required)

    Introduction to Physics, with laboratory (One college quarter or one year high school Physics) OR Introduction to Chemistry, with laboratory (One college quarter or one year high school Chemistry)
    Mathematics (Two years of high school Mathematics with C grade or better at Algebra 1 level or above) OR one quarter College-level Intermediate Algebra)
    Medical Terminology
    SOCIAL SCIENCES
General Psychology or Sociology
    DOMAIN 3: COMMUNICATION
Freshman English, complete sequence
    Speech
    Intro to Computers (One quarter college-level or one year high school level)
    DOMAIN 4: HEALTH AND WELLNESS
(One class required for BS programs)
    DOMAIN 5: ELECTIVES
42 quarter units required to meet minimum total requirements
    WORK EXPERIENCE
12 hours career observation (volunteer/employee) in a radiology department
