The Department of Radiation Technology has submitted a proposal for an online Master of Science in Radiation Sciences Program, proposed to start in the Fall of 2008. This program is, in part, a response to a mandate from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) that all entry-level program directors for medical radiography programs possess a master's degree. The purpose of this program is to provide radiation sciences practitioners with an opportunity to advance their education for leadership positions such as education and management in the radiation sciences.
The Master of Science in Radiation Sciences has been accepted by the board of Loma Linda University. WASC approval is pending.
