Marie De Lange, BS, RT, RDMS, RDCS

Marie carries the dual roles of program director for medical sonography, as well as department manager for Ultrasound at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Since 1978, Marie has mentored over 30 classes of students to successfully complete one of the most comprehensive and demanding sonography programs in the United States.

Having held multiple appointments with the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and its Educational Scholarship Foundation, she is currently Past Chair of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and past board member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine Board of Governors. Currently, she serves on the JRCDMS Board, which is the accrediting body for sonography programs. She has also been a Fellow of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers since 1992. Marie is personally and professional dedicated to excellence in ultrasound education.

Accreditation

The Loma Linda University Diagnostic Medical Sonography program has been fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Medical Sonography (JRCDMS) and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) in general sonography and vascular and echocardiography since 1983. In addition, our vascular lab here at Loma Linda University Medical Center was awarded the Accreditation of Vascular Labs (ICAVL) in 1993.
