Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology

Welcome

Welcome to the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. The department faculty members are excited to share their interests and expertise with you.

Can you imagine what kind of life one would have if s/he could not comprehend, formulate, or express any feelings or thoughts? Can you also imagine how satisfying it would be if you could help restore that person's communication abilities?

If you have an inquisitive mind and an interest in people, we think you will love what speech pathologists or audiologists do. We invite you to check out the programs we offer.

The department offers a BS in speech-language pathology & audiology for those who are ready to start the junior year of college. The two-year bachelor's program prepares the students to pursue a graduate degree in speech-language pathology, audiology, or other related fields. The department also offers two MS degrees in speech-language pathology. The two-year program is for students who completed a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology and the three-year program is for those who majored in other fields. Both programs prepare students to become licensed, credentialed, and certified clinicians to work in clinics, hospitals, public schools, or private practices.

Thank you for your interest,
