College requirements for transferring to the School of Allied Health Professions at Loma Linda University

Program requirement lists by schools (transfer patterns)

Image of SAHP student and Admissions Director discussing transcripts The School of Allied Health Professions admissions office maintains requirement lists (i.e., transfer patterns) of specific college course prerequisites (i.e., required college requirements) along with college specific course numbers that are required/accepted for each of our allied health programs to better advise transferring students.

The following points apply for all School of Allied Health Professions programs.

Prerequisites listed for each program must be successfully completed prior to attending Loma Linda University School of Allied Health Professions.
Loma Linda University does not offer general education courses but offers the medical core classes to complete Allied Health degrees.
Grades of C- or below do not transfer.
All students are considered transfer students from other colleges or universities.
Loma Linda University accepts credits from accredited colleges and universities only.
Official transcripts must be received from each of your colleges or universities before an acceptance can be granted.
Foreign college transcripts must be evaluated by an approved evaluation center. LLU Approved Evaluation Centers (PDF)
Transfer patterns are subject to change as requirements change. Check with department for clarification.

The prerequisite lists are in Portable Document Format (PDF). Adobe Reader is needed in order to view and print these documents. If you do not already have a copy of Adobe Reader, you can download a free copy from Adobe Systems.

Find your college or university and open the PDF file. Scroll down and look for your desired program. The following is not a complete list of institutions from which we accept credits but a partial list of local and Seventh-day Adventist institutions that students transfer from.
