David Dyjack: Publications |
David Dyjack is Dean at Loma Linda University School of Public Health.
Dr. Dyjack received a doctorate in public health from the University of Michigan, an MSPH in industrial hygiene from the University of Utah, and is a board certified industrial hygienist.
He has provided management and leadership in varied public health activities since the mid-1980s. These efforts included oversight of work at the federal level for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Department of Labor, and the Department of Defense. Additionally, he has provided consultations to the International Labour Organization (ILO), Saudi Aramco, Exxon, and Texaco, among others.
He has also been active in countries with developing economies illustrated by the extended indoor air pollution research in Ethiopia, technical assistance provided to the copper industry in Chile, and contributions to an ongoing post-graduate educational program anchored in Eldoret, Kenya. He has received several awards for humanitarian and leadership contributions to public health.
