Obed B. Rutebuka holds a doctorate in biology, a master of science in parasitology, and a master of science in public health in environmental health. He has taught biology and public health courses both on high school and college levels in Africa. He has a special interest in Malaria and how it impacts the public health in his native country of Rwanda. When in Rwanda he worked with Regional Department of Public Health and OXFAM to train rural health workers.
