GIS Day is a global event where thousands of users of geographic information system (GIS) technology open their doors to schools, businesses, and the general public to showcase real-world applications of this exciting technology.

Loma Linda University is joining the National Geographic Society, the Association of American Geographers (AAG), University Consortium for Geographic Information Science (UCGIS), The Library of Congress, US Geological Survey, (USGS), Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, and Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) in presenting this GIS technology to you.
Our event will feature exciting ways in which health scientists at LLU and elsewhere are using GIS technology today. Your attendance would be appreciated as we join in this global event and attempt to educate millions of people. Your participation could make a difference!
You are cordially invited to celebrate with us GIS Day 2007. Come and learn more about the substantial contributions that GIS technology is making in our communities every day, during the 2007 annual worldwide GIS Day.
