A recent letter to alumni and friends of the School emphasized the urgent need to establish new scholarship funds and to enlarge those that are already in place. For many prospective students, the availability of scholarship assistance is key to school choice and helps to attract the "best and the brightest" students for public health leadership training.
Contributing to an existing scholarship fund is a way to assist both students and the School at modest gift amounts. For individuals capable of larger gifts, named scholarships can be established with gifts of $10,000 or more. Named scholarships may specify the type of student or a particular department, and a gift commitment can be paid over several years.
