Dr. Kathleen Clem (10.01.07)
I am pleased to announce that Kathleen Clem is the new chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Clem joins us from Duke University where she was instrumental in setting up an academic emergency department and served as Division Chief of Emergency Medicine over the past eight years. She brings with her an expertise in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Kathleen Clem (07.02.07)
We are pleased to announce that Kathleen Clem has accepted the position of Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine, replacing Dr. William Wittlake who served in that capacity for 10 years. Dr. Clem is the current Chief of Emergency Medicine at Duke University and is the founder of that division's residency program. She graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1989 where she also finished her residency in Emergency Medicine. I would like to thank Dr. Corbett who ably served as interim chair.
Dr. Bryan Tsao (06.20.07)
I am pleased to announce that Bryan Tsao is the new chair of the Department of Neurology. Dr. Tsao graduated from LLUSM in 1996 and took his residency in Adult Neurology at Loma Linda University. He finished a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology, Neuromuscular, and EMG. Prior to joining Loma Linda, Dr Tsao was on the full time teaching staff at Cleveland Clinic before accepting the position of chair at Loma Linda. I would like to thank Daniel Giang, now former chair of Neurology, for 11 years of excellent leadership in this position. Dan will spend more time in his administrative position in the hospital and the Designated Institutional Official.
