Regardless of your background, we're sure you have a story to tell. Perhaps something noteworthy has happened that gave you pause to think of its Christian implications. Maybe it inspired you or provided insight about life’s lessons, or was just a good learning experience. Whatever the source, it probably made a lasting, spiritual impression.
We invite you to share your story in our book. It is through these stories that we can best tell others about Loma Linda University School of Medicine and its mission––to continue the healing and teaching ministry of Jesus Christ "to make man whole."
Please submit your story by December 31, 2012.
Anyone. Regardless of your relationship to the School of Medicine or Loma Linda University, we're interested in your story!
If you're not sure what to write about, consider these potential topics:
A simple lesson you learned from an unexpected place
A memorable interaction you had with a patient (our editors will be careful to protect patient confidentiality)
A mission experience you had
An instance that taught you about the spiritual implications of the practice of medicine
An occurence through which you learned the importance of Christian and/or Adventist education
The actions of a loved one or colleague that inspired you
Any experience that inspired you, taught you a life lesson, or changed your perspective
Due to space constraints, we can only print stories that are 500 words or less. If your submission is longer than this, our editing team will carefully abridge your story to fit on the page.
